Wiring Harness: Service and Repair
24 35 508 Replacing wiring harness in automatic transmission (AISIN)
Important!
After completion of work, check transmission fluid level.
Make a note of drained ATF quantity.
Required replenishment quantity approx. 4.5 liters.
Important!
Use only the approved automatic transmission fluid in this automatic transmission.
Otherwise the automatic transmission may incur extensive damage!
Do not drain fluid before the transmission has cooled down.
Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove hydraulic selector unit
Release screw (1).
Disconnect multiple connector (2) of EGS control unit.
Tighten AISIN input speed sensor EGS multiple connector
M6 Screw ............................................................................................................................................................................................................ 5 Nm
Installation:
Coat O-ring with ATF.
Release screw (1).
Disconnect multiple connector (2) of EGS control unit.
Tighten AISIN input speed sensor EGS multiple connector
M6 Screw ............................................................................................................................................................................................................ 5 Nm
Installation:
Coat O-ring with ATF.
