Convertible Top Frame: Service and Repair
Removing and Installing Front Bow
54 34 365 - Removing and installing front bow
Necessary preliminary tasks:

Partially remove convertible top fabric See: Convertible Top Canvas/Service and Repair
Mark screws (1).
Release left and right screws (1).
Remove front bow (2).
Installation:
Align front bow centrally and align to cowl panel seal with convertible top closed.
Insert screws with Loctite.
Tightening torque 54 34 8AZ See: Specifications/54 34 Motor-Driven Convertible Top (Electrical Components).
