Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove panel for rear lid .

Partially remove emergency release device See: Removing and Installing/Replacing Emergency Release Device for Rear Lid.
Release screw (1) on retractor Bowden cable (2) and feed out in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Tightening torque 51 24 4AZ See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Specifications.
Important!
When removing retractor Bowden cable (2), protect bumper against damage.
Warning!
Retractor Bowden cable is tensioned (risk of injury).
Release screws (1) on Bowden cable holder (2).
