Evaporator Core: Service and Repair
64 51 590 - Removing and installing/replacing evaporator
Note:
The heater See: Heater Core/Service and Repair/Removing and Installing/Replacing Heater is removed.
Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove evaporator temperature sensor See: Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch/Service and Repair
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Remove wiring harness (2) from air intake duct.
IHKA only:
Remove servodrive for temperature control See: Air Door/Air Door Actuator / Motor/Service and Repair/Replacing Servodrive for Temperature Control
(IHKA).
Release screws (1).
Release clip (2).
