Horn Switch: Service and Repair
61 31 222 - Removing and installing/replacing fanfare horn switch
Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove airbag unit See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair/Removing and Installing/Replacing Airbag Unit
Important!
Make sure cables are correctly laid in steering wheel and cannot be trapped during assembly.
Detach plug connection (1) from contact ring.
Multifunction steering wheel only:
Detach plug connection (2) from contact ring.
