Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Remove cylinder head See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.

-

Remove exhaust camshaft See: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Removing and Installing/Replacing Exhaust
Camshaft.

-

Remove intermediate lever See: Actuators and Solenoids - Engine/Variable Valve Timing Actuator/Service and Repair/Removing and
Installing/Replacing Intermediate Lever.

-

Remove inlet camshaft See: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Removing and Installing/Replacing Inlet Camshaft.

Remove roller cam follower See: Rocker Arm Assembly/Service and Repair. 

Place cylinder head (1) on special tool 11 9 000 See: Tools and Equipment/11 9 000 Cylinder Head Expander Tool.
