"Acquiring" Is Displayed Permanently If No HD Signal Is Available

Produced from 08/2010 with option 6FC (Radio MINI Boost CD) and option 653 (HD Radio)

SITUATION

When a HD radio station is selected, "ACQUIRING" is displayed permanently if no HD signal is available on that frequency. The message "acquiring"
will only disappear when the HD radio station is available again or by switching the radio station.

NOTE:

Audio from the main station (AM/FM) can be heard.

CAUSE

Application error in the radio

INFORMATION

Do not replace parts!

Explain the situation to the customer.

NOTE:

If the customer prefers, the HD radio function can be turned off in the radio settings. This would leave the radio in non-HD mode.
