Removing/Installing or Replacing Trim Between Front Center Console and Instrument Panel

51 16 198 Removing/Installing Or Replacing Trim Between Front Center Console And Instrument Panel

Note:  Front center console and cover trims for front center console on instrument panel must be simultaneously removed and installed.

Replacing Front Centre Console

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Remove front centre console

-

Remove front cup holder

Remove on-board socket/cigarette lighter.

Note:  Inner section of on-board socket/cigarette lighter must be removed before lighting ring is removed.

Installation:
When installing lighting ring (1), make sure bulb holder is seated in opening (2) on underside of centre console.

Replacing Rear Centre Console

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Remove rear centre console

Build date up to 07/2004:
Remove RDW switch (1).
Release screws (2) securing switches for front seat heating (depending on equipment specification).
Remove clips (3) from console.
