Some vehicles have been delivered to customers without this label. A letter, including the label and installation instructions, has been sent out to
these customers. Some of these customers however, may prefer to have the label applied at their local MINI dealer (copy included).

PROCEDURE

Inspect the B Pillar on the driver's side door opening and if the HAND WASH CAR ONLY label is missing, install one per the following instructions:

1.

Clean the painted surface above the door striker with a clean, dry cloth.

2.

Prepare the surface by applying a small amount of commercially available silicone or adhesive remover to a cloth and cleaning the area to which
the label will be applied to.

3.

Allow the area to dry completely.

4.

Remove the backing from the self adhesive label.
