Disconnect plug connection (1).
Only on vehicles with diesel engine:
Disconnect plug connections (2).

Remove centre console trim.

Replacement:

-

Remove heater/air conditioning control panel

-

Remove AV connection socket

Replacement (R55 and R56 only up to version 12/2007):
If necessary, rework centre console (1) trim. Make opening (2) in the marked area.
Dimension A = 23 mm
