SITUATION
The MINI emblem will no longer be installed on the valve cover of the N14 engine as of 03/2008 production. Some vehicles may still have the "old"
style valve cover with mounting holes for the MINI emblem.
PROCEDURE
If the mounting holes are present in the valve cover, as shown in the illustration below, then the emblem should be installed on the valve cover, using PN
11 12 7 568 034. Do not replace the entire valve cover.
