Installation:

Perform function check with rear lid open.

Replacement:

If necessary, pull upper section of clip (1) off lower section of clip (2) in upwards direction.

Installation:

Catches on upper and lower sections of clip (1) and (2) must not be damaged.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Partially remove panel for rear lid .

Partially remove retractor See: Removing and Installing/Replacing Retractor.

Partially remove mounting of emergency release device See: Removing and Installing/Replacing Emergency Release Device for Rear Lid.

Note:

The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.
