If the wiring is damaged, repair the wires using crimp connectors and shrink tubing.

11.

Reinstall harness support bracket (6) on the transmission mount.

12.

Reattach harness corrugated clip into the bracket (5) on the opposite side then originally installed (harness must be facing the air-box).

13.

Reinstall all previously removed components.

This Service Action has been assigned code number 21. After the vehicle has been checked, and corrected if necessary, obtain a label (MD 20-036) and:

a.

emboss your MINI dealer number in the middle of the label (1);

b.

punch out code number 21 printed on the label (2) and,
