Release nuts and press tie rod ends out of steering knuckle with special tool 32 3 090 See: Tools and Equipment/32 3 090 Extractor (1).
Installation:
Replace self-locking nuts.
Tightening torque: 32 21 1AZ See: Steering Arm/Specifications
Release nut (1) and remove steering spindle from steering gear.
Installation:
Tightening torque: 32 31 2AZ See: Steering Column/Specifications
Replace self-locking nut.
Detach high-pressure line (2) and low-pressure line (3).
Close off pipe connections with plugs.
Installation:
Replace sealing rings.
Tightening torque (2): 32 41 5AZ See: Specifications/Pump and Oil Supply
Tightening torque (3): 32 41 6AZ See: Specifications/Pump and Oil Supply
