Necessary preliminary tasks:

Draw off refrigerant from A/C system See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Procedures/Drawing off, Evacuating and Filling A/C
System (R 134a)

Remove carrier for instrument panel

Remove intake filter housing See: Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair
Unlock and detach coolant lines (1).
Carefully blow through twin pipes to remove remaining coolant from heater core.
Slacken nut (2).
Disconnect refrigerant lines (3).
