Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove intake filter housing See: Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair

Bring engine up to operating temperature
Important!
Air bubbles form continuously in the event of a leak!
Static air bubbles indicate that there is no leak. They may be caused by the leak detector spray or when the leak detector agent liquefies.
Apply leak detector spray* in area of screw connection (1) of delivery line (2).

Repeat procedure several times and check for bubbles with telescopic mirror in the entire screw connection area (1).
