Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE (IACV) - AUXILIARY AIR CONTROL (AAC) VALVE

1) Disconnect IACV-AAC valve harness connector.
2) Check IACV-AC valve resistance.

Resistance:

Approximately 10 ohms [at 25°C (77°F)]

3) Check plunger for seizing or sticking.
4) Check for broken spring.
