APPLIED MODELS:
All 1993 models except Quest

SERVICE INFORMATION

The CD player for the 1993 models listed above is not compatible with pre-1993 models. The wiring harness for the CD autochanger has been changed
to improve the sound quality. In doing this, the DIN connector has been changed from a five pin to an eight pin. The earlier five pin connector will plug
into the eight pin, but the CD player will not work (although the CD player will illuminate).

Care should be taken in both ordering and installation because the technician or customer who installs a 5-pin CD with an 8 pin head unit may not notice
the pin configuration and incorrectly assume that either the CD player or head unit is defective.
