Some early production 240SX vehicles have a styled tail pipe finisher that is difficult to install using normal procedures. (Note: A revised tail pipe will
be in production shortly, after which these special procedures will no longer be required.) To ease installation and prevent damage to the finisher, use a
piece of 1" wood, cut as shown below, to help drive the finisher onto the tail pipe.

To install the tail pipe finisher insert the piece of wood into the finisher as shown below, and hit the wood using a rubber hammer.
CAUTION: The outer portion of the finisher must not be used to drive the finisher onto the tail pipe.
