Instrument Panel Circuit Board: Service and Repair
Instrument Cluster

Fig. 11  Exploded View Of Instrument Panel.

    Refer to Fig. 11 when replacing the instrument cluster and noting the following:

1.

Disable airbag as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING & DISARMING.

2.

Remove steering column cover and steering wheel if necessary.

3.

Remove instrument panel cover if necessary.

4.

Remove cluster lid retaining screws and remove cluster lid.

5.

Disconnect speedometer cable, cluster retaining nuts and electrical connectors as necessary. The cluster may have to be pulled slightly forward
after removing the retaining screws to allow access to the electrical connectors in the rear.

6.

Reverse procedure to install, then rearm airbag as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING & DISARMING.
