Neutral Switch: Testing and Inspection
Fifth (O.D.) Gear Switch (M/T Only)

1.

Disconnect the the O.D. switch terminals.

2.

Connect an ohm meter to switch terminals.

3.

Make certain continuity exists only when the transmission is shifted into O.D..

Replace the switch if it fails the above test.
