Accel-Drum/Accelerator Wire: Adjustments

NOTE:

^ When removing accelerator wire, mark the lock nut's initial position.
^ Check that the throttle valve opens fully when accelerator pedal is fully depressed.
^ Check that the throttle valve returns to the idle position when the accelerator pedal is released.
^ Check the accelerator control parts for improper contact with any adjacent parts.
^ When connecting the accelerator wire, be careful not to twist or scratch it.
^ Make sure the ASCD wire is not pulling the throttle drum.

1. Loosen lock nut, and tighten adjusting nut until throttle drum starts to move.
2. From that position turn adjusting nut back 1.5 - 2 turns, and tighten lock nut.
