SERVICE INFORMATION
This bulletin describes the power antenna installation procedures for the applied models listed above. Please make these instructions available to
customers who purchase a replacement antenna and choose to install it themselves.
PARTS INFORMATION
The replacement parts necessary to complete the installation on each model are listed following the installation procedures.
Service Procedure 28OZX
Original Assembly Removal
1.
Remove rear end panel finisher.
2.
Remove rear end panel finisher support.
3.
Pull up left side of the rear floor mat and pad.
4.
Remove the two lower screws retaining the left rear side finisher.
5.
Remove the left rear side finisher. (The 2+2 has a cargo light which must be disconnected first.)
6.
Remove the antenna mounting screws at the base of the antenna assembly housing.
7.
Remove the antenna mast retaining nut and bezel -- these are located at the base of the antenna mast.
8.
Disconnect the electrical leads, drain hose, and antenna coaxial cable.
