13. If necessary to replace rubber hose on injector, proceed as follows:

a. On injector rubber hose, measure a point approximately.79 inch from socket end Using a 150 watt soldering iron, cut into braided rein

forcement of hose from mark to socket end, Fig. 98. Do not feed soldering iron until it touches injector tail piece. Then pull rubber hose out by
hand.

b. Clean exterior of injector tail piece. wet inside of new hose with fuel and push end of rubber hose with hose socket onto injector tail piece as far

as it will go by hand. Clamp is not necessary at this connection.
