About the 300ZX
The 300ZX, sold in Japan as the Fairlady Z, was sold in the United States from 1984 to 1996 across two generations. The first, the Z31 (1983–1989), was the highest-volume Z car. The second, the Z32, moved up-market with more advanced technology; Car and Driver put it on its Ten Best list every year it was sold in the US, and Motor Trend made it its 1990 Import Car of the Year.
