REPLACEMENT AND EXTENDED WARRANTY PROGRAM

This bulletin amends Technical Bulletin BE85-011 (TS85-081 ) to Include an Extended Warranty Program. Please discard the original bulletin.
INTRODUCTION
As part of our continuing effort to maintain customer satisfaction with Nissan products, we are pleased to announce an Extended Warranty Program for
the automatic antenna on all 1984 and 1985 300ZX vehicles.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

The warranty on all 1984/1985 300ZX automatic antennas is extended to 3 years from the date the vehicle was first put into service.

Owners of all 1984/1985 300ZX vehicles will receive a letter explaining the program. The letter will request the customer to bring the vehicle to a
Nissan dealer if the antenna fails or if the customer believes it is defective. Also included are the warranty terms and customer reimbursement
procedures. A copy of the letter is shown on page 4/5 of this bulletin.

NOTE: The owner's notification letter also details the 1984/1985 300ZX Fuel Sending Unit Extended Warranty Program explained in Technical

Bulletin BE85-105.

SERVICE INFORMATION
The Parts Information and Service Repair Procedure contained in this bulletin should be used only on vehicles built before the VINs listed on page 2/5.

Service Information for the antenna assembly of vehicles built after the VINs listed on page 2/5 will be contained in another Technical Bulletin which
will be issued in the future.

A service only countermeasure automatic antenna assembly is available for 1984/1985 300ZX vehicles manufactured before the VINs listed below. This
assembly contains no interchangeable components with the old automatic antenna assembly except for the control unit (see Figure 1 below).

Service Repair Procedure

When a 300ZX automatic antenna assembly (P/N 28206-01P00 or 28206-01P01) requires replacement, use the countermeasure antenna assembly (P/N
28200-17P60). This assembly requires that the control unit (P/N 28245-01P00) be removed from the old antenna and installed on the new antenna using
the screws supplied.
