SERVICE INFORMATION
An off-idle hesitation or backfire may be caused by intake valve deposits on some of the Applied Models listed above. The intake valve deposits are
caused by a combination of fuel quality and driving conditions.
The diagnostic procedure outlined below determines whether or not incident symptoms are the result of intake valve deposits.
