9. Disconnect fuel pump connector and apply battery voltage according to illustration.

Vacuum/fuel Pressure Test

10. Start the engine and read the indication of the fuel pressure gauge as the vacuum is changed.

NOTE: Fuel pressure should decrease as vacuum increases. If results are unsatisfactory, replace fuel pressure regulator.
