Preparation for Inspection/Adjustment

1. Make sure that the following parts are in good order.

Ignition system

Battery

^

Engine oil and coolant levels

^

Fuses

^

Electronic Concentrated Engine Control System (E.C.C.S.) harness connectors

^

Vacuum hoses

^

Air intake system (includes oil filler cap, oil level gauge, etc.)

^

Engine compression

^

E.G.R. valve operation

^

Throttle valve and throttle valve switch operation

2. On air conditioner equipped models, checks should be carried out while the air conditioner is "OFF".
