This system  Fig. 5, is used to prevent blowby gasses from entering the atmosphere by returning the blowby gasses created in the crankcase into the
engine's intake system. During engine operation when intake manifold vacuum is maintained, blowby gasses flow into the intake manifold through the
P.C.V. valve located in the blowby lower hose. When the turbocharger is in operation and positive pressure is present in the intake manifold, blowby
gasses flow through the blowby upper hose, preventing an abnormal rise in crankcase pressure.
