E ENGINE COLD DRIVEAWAY COUNTERMEASURE

This bulletin describes an additional cold driveaway countermeasure that may be applied to 1982 Sentras and 310's. This additional countermeasure
consists of modifications to the choke heater and spark timing control system and replacement of the exhaust manifold cover, and includes adjustment of
idle mixture and spark plug replacement, if necessary.

This bulletin also summarizes service procedures and parts and warranty information from previous 1982 E15 cold driveaway countermeasure technical
bulletins.

All applicable countermeasures must be applied to the vehicle to maximize cold start and driveaway performance. For carburetor insulator and choke
chambers, refer to serial number range.
