Idle Mixture Adjustment

Check idle mixture using the procedure described in the appropriate service manual. Adjust ignition timing to T.D.C. Adjust idle speed to 825
RPM for M/T, 725 RPM for A/T. Be sure to disconnect air induction hoses from air pipes and install caps on air pipes when checking idle CO.
Inspect vacuum hose connections and tubes for vacuum leaks before adjusting idle CO. If it is necessary to adjust the idle CO, be sure to reinstall
an idle mixture screw plug (P/N 16030-23M00). If idle CO% is less than 1.5% adjust to 1.5%.
