DOOR LOCK

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Remove the door finisher. Refer to Doors, Hood and Trunk.
2. Remove the door window and door module assembly. Refer to "Removal and Installation".

3. Disconnect the inside handle cable and locking knob cable from the back side of the door finisher.
4. Reach to separate the key cylinder (driver side only) rod and outside handle rod connection (on the handle).

5. Disconnect the door lock actuator connector.

6. Remove the mounting screws (TORX 130) remove the door lock assembly.
7. Remove the outside handle mounting bolts remove the outside handle.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

To install each rod, be sure to rotate the rod holder until a click is felt.

After installing, check operation.

After installing, perform fitting adjustment. Refer to "Fitting Adjustment".
