CLAIMS INFORMATION

Submit a Primary Failed Part (PP) line claim using the claims coding shown.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

NOTE:

This is the ONLY approved repair procedure for this incident. A claim to Nissan division for the repair of this incident may be denied if the repair is
not performed exactly as outlined in this bulletin.

IMPORTANT:

Use suitable covers to protect upholstery, carpet, etc. when performing this procedure.

Remove Rear Cup Holder/Rear Console Cover from Vehicle:

Perform steps 10 through 17 on page "IP-17" of the 2003 Murano Electronic Service Manual (ESM) to remove the Rear Cup Holder and Rear 
Console Cover.

Replace Rear Cup Holder:

Push down on the two Retaining Clips while pulling out on the Rear Cup Holder (see Figure 2a).

Continue pulling out until the Rear Cup Holder is removed from the Rear Console Cover (see Figure 2b).

NOTE:

Make sure the "Roll-up" Spring remains inserted in the Rear Console Cover. If it comes out by accident, re-install it as shown in Figure 2b.

Insert the new Rear Cup Holder in the Rear Console Cover, making sure:

The Roll-up Spring correctly "engages" (attaches to) the Rear Cup Holder
