Steps 1 through 3 below only apply to vehicles equipped with Front Side (SRS) Air Bags.

Vehicles equipped with Front Side (SRS) Air Bags have the words "SRS Air Bag" imprinted on the upper outside area of the seatback (see
Figure 2).

1.

Write down all radio station presets.

2.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.

Wait at least 3 minutes after the negative battery cable is disconnected before proceeding with step 4 below.

Remove the worn seat from the vehicle. See the ESM, SEAT section REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION.

5.

Remove the head restraint assembly from the seatback.

6.

Remove the seatback from the seat cushion.

7.

Remove the seatback cover. See the ESM, Disassembly and Assembly section, SEATBACK TRIM AND PAD.

8.

Remove the seat cushion. See the ESM, Disassembly and Assembly section, SEAT CUSHION TRIM AND PAD (MANUAL SEAT).

Replace Seat Covers:

Replace the head restraint assembly, seatback cover, and seat cushion cover with the correct ones from the PARTS INFORMATION section of
this bulletin.

When ordering the seatback cover, there are two possible seatback choices for the seatback cover being replaced, either with or without side
air bag (see Figure 2).
