Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Wait at least 3 minutes after the negative battery cable is disconnected before removing the driver's seat.

1.

Remove the driver's seat from the vehicle.

Refer to the Service Manual (ESM), section SE, for seat removal instructions.

2.

Set the seat on its back on a clean working surface.

3.

Locate the two ends of the seat thigh support adjuster (see Figure 1).

NOTE:

The special washers (see Parts Information) have a cut-out.

This cut-out allows installation of the washer by sliding it between the seat thigh support adjuster and the seat sliding & reclining device-inner
and outer (see Figure 2).
