2003-2004 350Z; REDUCTION OF FRONT BRAKE NOISE WHEN BRAKING IN REVERSE

This bulletin amends the Claims Information in NTB03-114. Please discard all paper copies of the earlier bulletin.

APPLIED VEHICLES: 
2003-2004 350Z (Z33) - ONLY vehicles without Brembo Brakes*

* Brembo Brake calipers have the name "Brembo" cast into the side and are gold in color.

IF YOU CONFIRM:

An applied vehicle shows the following symptom:

a "squeak" or "squeal" noise coming from the front brakes, when braking in reverse.

ACTIONS:

On both front brakes, replace the one outer front brake shim indicated in the SERVICE PROCEDURE with the one from the PARTS
INFORMATION section of this bulletin (see Figure 1).
