Carefully use a large flat blade screw driver to push the lower strip up, towards the headrest.

Start on the left and work towards the right to fully connect the two strips.

Hook the elastic straps at the lower left and right corners of the seat back (see Figure 19).

Make sure the harnesses are routed as shown in Figure 20.

Reinstall the seat. Make sure:

All wire harnesses are correctly routed to prevent pinching and chaffing.

The four seat mounting bolts are tightened to: 32 - 42 ft-lbs.

Reconnect the negative battery cable.

25.

Use CONSULT-II to clear the air bag control unit memory.

26.

Reprogram the radio presets and reset the clock.
