Leave both doors open.

Disconnect the battery.

CAUTION:

Before re-connecting the battery, open the doors again (if they were closed during service). This will help ensure that nothing will be caught
between the window top edge and the roof/weatherstrip area.

NOTES:

The battery for the new 350Z is located in the right rear (passenger side) corner of the under-hood compartment (see Figure 2). To access the
battery, lift up on the battery cover tab to release the cover. Then place your finger into the indentation to the right of the tab to remove the
battery cover (See figure 2).

A battery finisher panel must be taken oft before removing the battery from the vehicle. To take oft the finisher panel, remove 5 clips that hold
the panel in place (see Figure 3).
