9. Disconnect alternator connector.

10. Remove B terminal mounting nut.
11. Remove harness clip and water hose bracket from alternator.
12. Remove alternator assembly from vehicle under side.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal, taking care of the following point.

Install alternator, and check tension of belt.

CAUTION:  Be sure to tighten B terminal mounting nut carefully.

B terminal mounting nut:
Tightening Torque: 9.32 - 10.8 N.m (0.95 - 1.1 kg-m, 83 - 95 in-lb) 

Alternator mounting bolt (upper side) :
Tightening Torque: 59.8 - 69.6 N.m (6.1 - 7.0 kg-m, 45 - 51 ft-lb) 

Alternator stay mounting bolt:
Tightening Torque: 24.5 - 31.4 N.m (2.5 - 3.2 kg-m, 18 - 23 ft-lb)
