Neutral Safety Switch: Description and Operation

PNP SWITCH

When the gear position is "P" or "N" (A/T), "Neutral" (M/T), park/neutral position (PNP) switch is "ON".

ECM detects the position because the continuity of the line (the "ON" signal) exists.
