DO NOT remove the shift knob as shown in Figure 5.
8.
Clean the threads of the shift lever with a wire brush (see Figure 6).
9.
Apply a few drops of High Temp High Strength Threadlocker Red* (see Figure 6).

10.
Re-install the shift lever knob by HAND-TIGHTENING ONLY.

Turn the knob clockwise to tighten it.

Make sure the gear shift numbers and the knob are in the proper position (NOT slanted).
