Wrap the propeller shaft with large bubble wrap and tape it in place as shown.

CAUTION:

Make sure the propeller shaft is protected from impact (wrapped with bubble wrap) during removal and installation.

Remove the propeller shaft.

a.

Use paint to put matching marks on the flanges as shown.

b.

Remove the propeller shaft bolts.

C.

Remove the propeller shaft.
