Disconnect wiring harness connector to relay and check continuity with ohmmeterFig. 59.

2.

Meter should indicate continuity between terminals 2 and 3, but should indicate no continuity between terminals 1 and 4.

3.

Using jumper wires, connect battery voltage across terminals 2 and 3.

4.

Ohmmeter should indicate continuity between terminals 1 and 4.
