2. Install the converter housing onto the CVI case, and then install the new bolts (see Figure 71).

3. Torque the new bolts as numbered in Figure 71.

IMPORTANT:

Make sure to torque the bolts in this sequence ONLY. Bolts torque: 45.0 Nm (4.6 kg-m, 33.2 ft lb)

NOTE:

Handle the ratio control valve and valve body carefully.

1. Replace the lip seal (see Figure 72).

NOTE:

Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly onto the lip seal to keep it in place.

2. Move the wire harness out of the way.
