Removal and Installation

In the case that the ABS actuator and electronic unit (control unit) is replaced, make sure to adjust position of steering angle sensor. Refer to

Requirement.
REMOVAL
1. Remove the spiral cable. Refer to See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the two screws (A) and release the three clips (B) to remove the steering angle sensor (1) from spiral cable (2).
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
