2007 ALTIMA; BCM INSPECTION AND CONFIGURATION DURING REPLACEMENT
APPLIED VEHICLES: 2007 Altima (L32)
IF YOU CONFIRM
You need to replace the BCM for any reason.
ACTIONS

Use CONSULT-III to download and write down/print out the current BCM's configuration.
^
Install the new BCM.
^
Program the Intelligent Keys.
^
Use the information written down/printed out to configure the new BCM.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
Perform the following steps before installing a new BCM:
1.
Connect the Vehicle Interface (VI) to the vehicle, then to the Toughbook PC using the USB cable.
2.
Connect the AC Adapter to the Toughbook PC.
3.
Press the vehicle ignition to the ON position.

DO NOT depress the brake while performing this step.
4.
Turn ON the Toughbook PC.
5.
Start CONSULT-III.
6.
Wait for the "Detecting VI/MI in progress" message to clear.
