After removing the connector support shown in Figure 1, locate connector M73 (white 16 pin connector, see Figure 2).

Disconnect 16 pin connector M73. Inspect and repair as needed:

Make sure there are no bent pins.

Check for backed out pins on each side of the connector.

Check for proper female terminal pin fit.

6.

Confirm the connector is "locked" (properly snapped in place).

7.

Confirm incident is resolved.

8.

Reinstall any parts removed.

Reference the Tool Catalog Price List in ASIST. Pro-rate the individual connectors, terminals, retainers and/or seals used per this list, then multiply
that pro-rated amount by 40% (dealer mark-up) to arrive at the claimable amount for the repair component(s) actually used. On your warranty claim,
use either Part Category 720 ("Engine Electrical") or 791 ("Body Electrical") depending on where the connector(s) repaired were located.
