Remove two screws and remove the Audio Control from the steering wheel (if equipped). See Figure 8.

Remove two screws and remove the Automatic Speed Controls from the steering wheel (if equipped). See Figure 8.

Remove the two Air Bag Module Mounting Screws (see Figure 9).

NOTE:

Some vehicles have optional Security Screws (see example in Figure 9). You will have to use the special tool to remove these screws.

9.

Carefully move the Air Bag Module rearward enough to reach the Air Bag Module Harness Connectors (see Figure 10).
