2. Tighten outer socket lock nut. Tie-rod length "L": 136.8 mm (5.39 inch). 

3. Measure rack stroke. Rack stroke "S": 66 mm (2.60 inch). 

4. Before installing boot, coat the contact surfaces between boot and tie-rod with grease.

5. Install boot clamps.

a. Install large boot clamp using suitable tool and crimp securely.
b. Install small boot clamp as shown.
